How to set minimum and maximum order value rule for the discounts

This settings will help you to setup rules so that it will activate discounts only if the cart total is within a given range.

Follow these steps to setup min-max rules.

  1. Edit any "Customer Discount Group"
    Click the edit icon for Discount Group of your choice.
    note: these rules are equally applicable on the "Create Customer Discount Group" page

  2. On the "Edit Customer Discount Group" page find "Order Value Requirement" section
    - You can use the "Minimum Order Value" and "Maximum Order Value" inputs to set limits.
    - These values will be compared against the cart total before discount.

Checkout these examples:

  1. Apply discount only if the cart total is greater of equal to $1000

    Use case 1:

    • Cart total: $999

    • Discounts: ❌ will not be applied

    Use case 2:

    • Cart total: $1000

    • Discounts: ✅ will be applied

    Use case 3:

    • Cart total: $1500

    • Discounts: ✅ will be applied

  2. Apply Discount if the cart total is within range $599 to $1599

    Use case 1:

    • Cart total: $500

    • Discounts: ❌ will not be applied

    Use case 2:

    • Cart total: $598

    • Discounts: ❌ will not be applied

    Use case 3:

    • Cart total: $599

    • Discounts: ✅ will be applied

    Use case 4:

    • Cart total: $1000

    • Discounts: ✅ will be applied

    Use case 5:

    • Cart total: $1599

    • Discounts: ✅ will be applied

    Use case 6:

    • Cart total: $1600

    • Discounts: ❌ will not be applied

  3. Apply discounts if the cart total is less then or equal to $5000

    Use case 1:

    • Cart total: $4999

    • Discounts: ✅ will be applied

    Use case 2:

    • Cart total: $5000

    • Discounts: ✅ will be applied

    Use case 3:

    • Cart total: $5001

    • Discounts: ❌ will not be applied
